Jewels born from a Sicilian memory, blending tradition and modern design to tell unique stories through artisanal craftsmanship
Lidia Lucchese, born in Alcamo in 1963, has turned her passion for goldsmithing into a successful career. After earning a degree in economics, she followed her creative calling, graduating as a goldsmith artisan. Her journey began with creating custom jewelry, rediscovering the ancient art of Sicilian goldsmiths and developing a unique style through continuous material research. In 1993, she opened her workshop, which today represents the heart of her creativity. Each piece she creates is a tribute to the beauty of Sicily, handmade with rare gems, semi-precious stones, gold threads, corals, and pearls.
Despite the considerable success she has achieved, Lidia has always continued to refine her craft, participating in international events and expanding her horizons while never forgetting her Sicilian roots. Today, she defines herself as a jewelry creator and eagerly faces new challenges, such as entering the Japanese and American markets.
Her collections, including "Cassata," "Living Corale," and the recent "Color and Bloom," are the result of relentless work that blends tradition and innovation, with particular attention to the quality of materials and craftsmanship.
Lidia Lucchese's creative process begins with an image or memory, often linked to Sicily, which inspires her works. Every piece of jewelry tells a story, and Lidia values collaboration with local entities, such as the coral artisans of Trapani and the historic Palermo goldsmith houses, to preserve and revive Sicilian goldsmith traditions. For her, creating by hand is a way to write a unique story, piece by piece, each time with profound meaning. Each piece created represents a perfect balance between craftsmanship and contemporary design, making every creation a true work of art.
