The Vuedu SS 2025 collection, titled “Contrappunto” is a tribute to the stylistic roots of the Palermo-based brand founded by Daniela Vinciguerra. This collection revisits the brand’s hallmarks, featuring garments entirely crafted in Sicily using natural Italian fabrics such as linen, cotton, viscose, and jersey. Each piece is meticulously tailored, celebrating the craftsmanship of Made in Italy.
The chosen colors—purple, olive green, orange, black, light blue, fuchsia, and apple green—are combined in bold, contrasting pairings. These hues find harmony through floral patterns that blend them seamlessly, creating garments designed for women with a comfortable yet original style. The collection explores chromatic and formal diversity, transforming them into a cohesive and stylish symphony.
VU and DU, meaning ‘seen’ and ‘owed’ in French, are also the initials of the brand’s founder. This clever wordplay reflects the journey of an elegant and simple brand, capable of creating garments with ironic geometries, surprising fabric combinations, and unexpected color mixes.
