The valuable word of buyers.
A trade fair is a key moment for defining your business and tracing a path to the near future. The market proposal takes shape, often guided by fruitful research and intuition on the trends that will be worn. If exhibitors are tasked with offering clear ideas, buyers have the arduous task of sifting through what’s “in” or “out”.
The HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition is a crossroads of personalities, all on the hunt for innovation and craftsmanship. “The Made in Italy label definitely carries the idea of style and quality for customers. This is coupled with a demand for unique products at good prices”, says Anna Soghoyan, buyer for Armenia, “There are two other key factors that influence my choices: the latest fashion trends and how adaptable the pieces are, without skimping on quality. Plus, the variety on offer. As for the evergreen, in September, I'll mainly be looking out for handmade jewellery and accessories, even those made by small family businesses.”
And, of course, one of the key points of the upcoming Autumn-Winter 2021-2022 season is craftsmanship as it guarantees precise quality with a high degree of creativity. Although the international situation shows some uncertainty, buyers strongly believe in “beautiful and well made”, with a particular awareness of what’s green. If Made in Italy excellence is renowned worldwide, the HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition allows new cultures to be introduced which have been emerging in recent years. “My customers always ask where products originate from, which is becoming a specific sales discriminating factor”, commented Monica Gutiez, buyer for Mongap.at, “At the September trade fair, I’ll be looking out for the new must-haves. I’ve already done some research so I can arrive prepared for the event, and I’m actually certain that natural stones, found in some remote corners of the Earth, and golden details will be really successful next season”.
