HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition big star of #RestartTogether

The return to in person marked the enthusiasm of operators and companies, happy to meet after so long and motivated anew to do business by touching the quality of the collections presented.

The great success of #RestartTogether, the initiative that saw the synergy of the main fashion shows, was a really important result obtained by HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition. During the opening days, the number of trade operators attending reached 22,274, a number that exceeded all expectations and that HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition drove with its 12,275 registered professional visitors (over 55% of the total) thus confirming its position as the leading international trade fair for fashion accessories and jewellery.

With its 300 brands (30% of which are non-Italian), HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition has been able to amaze industry professionals with original proposals and truly innovative ideas that enrich the present and project into the future. The operators were able to reach, mainly the young with a strong foreign background, who appreciated the ongoing research of an event that always focuses on experimentation, proposing new materials, new shapes and colours that can give new input to the market.

Crucial to this success was, of course, the return to in-person attendance, which facilitated exchanges and made it possible to experience the quality of the collections presented. The main event at HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition was the #BELUCKY exhibition, dedicated to amulets and talismans in jewellery and fashion accessories. The exhibition - produced in collaboration with Poli.Design - was conceived before the pandemic and is now more topical than ever, in this era that needs positive thoughts, hope and the luck that always helps the bold who dare and put themselves on the line. "It was very important for us, at this time, to maintain the cycle of exhibitions inaugurated under the "#BE" umbrella, a way to tell the story of creativity and, above all, to show that we know how to make it" - Emanuele Guido, Exhibition Director Business Unit Lifestyle, opened the inauguration - "HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition is just a few days ahead of the Milan Fashion Week, thus being part of an Italian system that actively contributes to the world of accessories and jewellery". The exhibition, which investigated the trend spanning the sacred and the profane, religious beliefs and superstitions, was opened by Poli.Design Professor Alba Cappellieri, who said: "I am really moved to see you all here: it is a strong and important signal for the fashion accessory and jewellery sector. For me it means recovery, that is, having managed to overcome the horrible and critical moment, which we have experienced”.

Once again, HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition has proved to be a solid format capable of attracting sector professionals from Italy and abroad, offering a business platform that has already put aside the satisfaction of this result to think, with renewed and reinvigorated confidence, about the next event in February 2022 (from 18 to 21, at fieramilano).
