22-25 February 2025

HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition, the international trade fair for fashion accessories and trendy jewellery items, returns from 19 to 22 September 2020, welcoming exhibitors and visitors in a perfectly safe setting and offering new opportunities for business in the sector.
One of the various initiatives featured at this edition is the Fiera Milano Platform project, one of a range of services that has been developed to provide support during the historic moment of post-Covid recovery, indicating new ways forward as activities resume.
The platform is devoted to the entire production and supply community involved: exhibitors and visitors (physical and virtual), buyers, journalists, bloggers and opinion leaders, and aims to facilitate and strengthen relationships. In this way Fiera Milano Platform is starting a whole new chapter by providing a unique, complete and integrated experience.
An innovative system which, starting in September, will focus even more attention on the network that revolves around each edition of the fair, making it easier for buyers and companies to interact. The project will include an ecosystem of services: the content on the event’s websites and social media platforms will be much richer, to give the best possible presentation of products and trends, through images and individual accounts; an extensive range of meetings and courses, both through a physical presence and in digital form (webinars in particular); a revamped output of catalogues redesigned for the presentation; and the trading of exhibitors’ products.
The services proposed will also include a detailed digital map of events so that they can be accessed remotely, and making it possible to set up direct negotiations in real time. In this way the experience available for the days of the event will become phygital: a hybrid event featuring totally new formats that will be digital as well as simultaneously involving an actual public presence.
In additional to the structural changes that have been made to the physical trade fair space, regarding the use of multiple touch points based on new technologies (IoT, Data Analytics, Cloud, Mobile App), Fiera Milano has now equipped itself with: an infrastructure made up of 80 high-definition LED walls that can be used for wide variety of infotainment services, to be launched in the Rho fair district in September; a heat map for geo-localisation inside the fair, monitoring flows of people as they make their way through the halls, for better interaction between buyers and exhibitors; and a new app giving access to a series of services such as the new way-finding system, a fast track, the booking of parking spaces and details of catering services.
All of this will be integrated with: the website and the blog covering the event providing all the latest news and trends; the personal area – Fiera ID, which will visualise information and services, as well as giving access to the digital ticketing service; the Smart Catalog of exhibitors to help visitors better organise their day at the fair, make purchases and arrange appointments; the Open Agenda for exhibitors and finally the Virtual Room to put them in direct contact with visitors.
