The opening conference of the next edition of Milano Fashion&Jewels, will be a moment of knowledge and education to create awareness on the theme of Sustainability, deepening ethical and social responsibility in the fashion system.

Founder PFR - Polly's Fitting Room & Fashion Career Advisor

Anna Paola Vergani is the founder of PFR - Polly's Fitting Room, the first fashion orientation reality in Italy. She graduated in economics and business management at the Cattolica University of Milan and obtained a Master's degree in International fashion business at Polimoda in Florence. She worked as Product Manager at Givenchy and Idee Partners, then in business consulting at Idee Brand Platform and Tora Tora Showroom, finally as Project Developer, Brand Collaborations and Digital Marketing at Sustainable Brand Platform. In 2019 he created in Milan PFR - Polly's Fitting Room, the first onLife orientation reality in fashion in Italy that aims to help the young talents of tomorrow to know how the fashion industry works at the level of macro areas, dynamics and logics and to know what professional roles exist. PFR - Polly's Fitting Room organises dedicated workshops, such as "A TOUCH OF FASHION" and training events, thanks to a Faculty of sector experts from important realities both in Italy and abroad. In 2022 she created the PFR COMMUNITY, the first onLife empowerment community in fashion, collaborating with the most established professionals in the sector. Anna Paola Vergani carries out consultancy and training activities in the fashion world in Italy and abroad.

ANTONIO FRANCESCHINI

Head of CNA Federmoda Italy

Degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bologna and studies in economics and marketing. Since 1989, he has held a position within the F.N.A.L.A (National Federation of Wood and Furniture Craftsmen), and since 13 February 1990 has been Provincial Secretary of the F.N.A.A. (National Federation of Clothing Craftsmen), which then split in December 1993 into ANTABB (National Association of Textile and Clothing Craftsmen), ANPEC (National Association of Leather, Leather and Footwear Craftsmen), UNAS (Union of Tailoring and Other Bespoke Craftsmen), ASPEL (Furrier's Association), all of which are components of the CNA Fashion System. At the same time, since 1994, he has also held the position of Regional Secretary of Emilia Romagna for UNAS and ASPEL. From February 1997 to February 2006, he joined the staff of the Provincial Presidency of the CNA of Bologna as "Head of Internationalisation Policies". Since May 1998 he has been Regional Secretary for CNA Federmoda (National Textile-Clothing Association) and ANPEC-CNA (National Leather Leather and Footwear Association), since September 2004 he has been a member of the CNA FEDERMODA National Secretariat. He also became Head of Fashion Image and Communication of the CNA in Bologna until February 2006. Since February 2006, he has been CNA FEDERMODA National Union Manager and, since 1 January 2012, also CNA National Promotion and International Market Office Manager..

MARINA SPADAFORA

Sustainability expert

Marina Spadafora gained a reputation worldwide for her own brand that featured sophisticated knits . Since then she has collaborated with label such as Prada, Miu Miu ,Ferragamo and Marni. Marina's work has always included a strong social and environmental focus, believing that ethics and aesthetics can coincide. Her motto is "Fashion with a mission". Marina has worked closely with the United Nations to bring development to emerging economies through fashion working with artisans belonging to the WFTO in many countries around the world. For her commitment to ethical fashion she has received the United Nations Women Together Award in 2015 in New York. Marina has done three TEDxTalks on sustainable Fashion and her book La rivoluzione comincia dal tuo armadio was published in 2020.

LORELLA TAMBERI CANAL

Founder Lorella Tamberi Canal Jewels

Lorella Tamberi Canal, from Milan, debuted in jewelry design in 2009 after a long career in management consulting. She follows the course of Advanced Training in Jewellery Design at the Politecnico di Milano and collaborates, shortly after, with Vogue Pelle and Vogue Gioiello, where she deepens her ties with fashion. In 2010 he founded the homonymous brand Lorella Tamberi Canal Jewels and his atelier in Milan. Guided by his passion for Italian culture and his love for nature, he draws his jewels inspired by the sensuality of the forms of flora and fauna and the charm of his country, Italy. The constant commitment to creating sustainable jewelry is its mission. His jewels are handmade in Italy, according to principles of responsibility and sustainability, by expert goldsmiths and artisans. It uses silver and gold combined with semi-precious stones, often combined with unusual materials in the world of jewelry such as leather and galuchat. In 2018 he designed the "Bee Queen" jewelry collection, dedicated to the protection of bees, with the aim of raising public awareness about the protection of this precious insect. His jewels were exhibited at the exhibitions "Jewels in fashion" at Palazzo Reale in Milan in November 2016, "Scatenata, la catena tra funzione e ornamento" at Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan in February 2017, "La pelle della moda" in September 2017, "Naturalia" In January 2018, "Be Free, Freedom in Fashion Jewellery and Accessories" in March 2022, "Visions of Tomorrow" in September 2022, "Visionaries" in February and September 2023 at the Milan Fair on the occasion of HOMI Fashion&Jewels, "DIVA! The Italian Glamour in Fashion Jewelry" that is traveling in the way since June 2021.
