Marco Rossini in dialogue with Sonia Patrizia Catena have traced an itinerary on the current panorama of contemporary jewellery, starting from their personal experience in Galleria Rossini, an art space dedicated to designer jewellery.
An interpretation of jewellery through the materials and techniques used, also through the filter of experimentation and contamination from the world of art, design and fashion. Jewellery free from pre-established categories that is now the expression and vehicle of the personality of the wearer.
In the past, Marco Rossini worked as a goldsmith in the Milanese workshop "Oro e Passioni," which he personally founded. This experience, at the intersection of art and goldsmithing, allowed him to develop a unique style characterized by lines and shapes that blend the new and the old. Today, Marco is an author and gallery owner specializing in contemporary art jewelry. He collaborates with many artists, sharing techniques and experiments, and promotes collective, individual, and themed exhibitions. His goal is to spread a culture that values and appreciates author jewelry. The Galleria Rossini was founded in Lodi in 2007 as Galleria Arcelli Rossini, reopened in 2011 in the exhibition space "Borgo Adda," and moved to Milan in November 2012. Today, the gallery has become a key point in Milan for artists, collectors, and lovers of contemporary jewelry. In addition to exhibiting master works, it also features experimental pieces and emerging artists.
